I often criticize Major League Baseball for extending the baseball season well into October. As it turns out, the big leaguers wrap things up a little bit earlier than their little league counterparts. This picture was taken on November 14, the last game of Joe’s (nephew) fall ball season.

Footnote: This is the first exposure I made with a 1D Mark III. The camera arrived about 20 minutes before I left for the game. I put a few minutes charge on the battery and then headed out. I finished the unpacking and read the instructions in the parking lot before the game.

• In my dock snuggled right close to the iTunes icon is the Boxee icon. I wonder how much longer they will need to exist down there together?

• Today’s practice deepened my belief that nothing I’ve seen looks as arresting as minor 7th chords sound.

• For me 2008 verified that the best way to make something expensive is to make it free.
• Didn’t plan on three weeks away, but my vertebrate had a plan (bad) of their own. Spent Christmas trying to identify ceiling tile fractals.
